Sometimes the best thing to do to a image is to stop. Its hard to know when that it. The only thing I can think of (I don't like the footsteps, brings people too much into something that is completely in its own way about people - but that is only my opinion) the only one I see is perhaps a little glow on the desert scene to imply heat...but everyone is right, that is a wonderful image and one of the few I saved that was futuristic.

If you wanted a little humor you could add a little old janitor busy sweeping the habitats back into their places.

honestly, this is probably one of the most amazing things i have seen in a long time. I just cropped it to dual monitors (i have two) and used it as a wallpaper.

Footprints would convey a feeling of regular use, and add a dimension of story, narrative: history.

The improvements you made were good ones like the lighting on the leaves. Losing the monkey was a good idea as well.
