The god of motorcycling, Haarlir, watches over all motorcyclists, be they on scooters, mopeds, racing bikes or choppers. Highways are his domain, bikie halls are his churches and race tracks his altar. He is accompanied by his eagle Yamahiir, who represents his racing aspect, and his hound, Triumff, who mercilessly preys upon careless drivers on the road. To worship Haarlir, one need only burn and offering of petroleum while cruising the streets.
Probably my most ambitious and challenging project to date, this is my collab with talented American photographer Ivan Lesko. Check him out here:
[link]Composed of hundreds of photos shot by Ivan and myself, this represents about 100 or so hours of work over the last few months. I learned a great deal making this, pushing myself and my techniques. The seed of inspiration for this one was the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones.
The concept was to create a Nordic-styled god who, like a Nordic god, has accompanying animals.
Special thanks to Robbo's Harley Davidson, Canberra for letting me wander around their store for a few hours with my camera.
All stock photography by myself and Ivan Lesko.

It's ok though - it's done much better on other websites and made it into few mags so I'm happy
