I always enjoy making my city images and this one is no exception. Here I have worked with Toronto based photographer Jesse Blight. Check him out: [link]
Toronto is an interesting city, being the financial centre of Canada as well as the country's largest city, it is perhaps the true centre of power, dwarfing the capital of Ottawa. Much the same way that Sydney and Melbourne dwarf Canberra here in Australia.
Toronto is the epitome of the modern skyscraper city and has an iconic skyline to match with some fantastic architecture. The city seems relatively untouched by the economic crises and decay affecting much of North America.
That being said though, the city is for better or worse going through a period of change, with a number of seemingly mass-produced developments going up and the iconic skyline being changed, hence the title and form.
This one is well suited to being a wallpaper and I have put it up as one. Enjoy
All source imagery taken by Jesse, additional stock shots by myself.

It remind's me a lot of the 1986 Japanese anime movie, 天空の城ラピュタ aka 'Tenkū no Shiro Laputa' (Castle in the Sky). ope it has permission to be in Canadian airspace...i would'nt want to see this fantastic work of art blown to piece's -->
That's a fair call, I've had that before about some of my other airborne creations. Similarly my walking pieces have been compared to Howl's Moving Castle.
Haha for that to happen, Canada would first need a significant air force . Just got to make sure it stays north of the US border. (As I understand it the Canadian Air force is just as negligible as ours is here in Australia)
Hmmm....that gives me an idea. I might weaponise a city soon. Maybe Washington DC or Beijing....
